Kirk and Jayne Flanagan Missionary Associates to Malawi.
Greetings in the name of Jesus,

We trust you are all well, all is well here in Malawi.
As we mentioned in our last update Malawi Assemblies of God celebrated 60 years of being here in Malawi.
What a great celebration this was, it started on July 18th- July 22nd, services were held each night and during the day our missionary here Dr. Denny Miller led "the Holy Sprit Convocation", it was powerful.

Then the evening services were led by Dr. Dan Sheaffer. He has invested so much into Malawi, he has built many churches here in Malawi for the last 25 years. There was one evening services where Brother Dan had all pastors and missionaries come up front to pray for people, that was the most powerful prayer time I have really experienced, God really moved.
Below is the first night of the evening services.

To mark this great celebration cloth was printed and we all had clothing made out of it.

What a memorable time this was!
This great event ended with a Sunday morning service and it was a great honor for the Assemblies of God to have the President of Malawi His Excellency Dr. Bingu wa Mutharika present in this service. Below is  a picture of him speaking. He gave a large piece of property for the school to the A/G.
Please look in the photo gallery on our website www.flanagansinmalawi.com for more photos of this great event and of our ministry here in Malawi.

The Bible studies at the weaving factory have been going well, the precious folk there really enjoyed receiving a Bible last Thursday, I would really like to be able to provide my blind friends there with the Bible on tape.
When you give someone a Bible here they are so excited to be receiving God's word.
Kirk gave a Bible in Chichewa to the lady at the Post office. She was so thankful.

Kirk and Jesse are doing a Crusade in the Neno district with the Divisional office staff, this is a two day crusade to build up the body of the church there. Kirk is preaching 3 services.
Below is a photo of Jack and Pastor Christopher, Jack and Pastor Christopher became good friends on the last crusade a couple of months ago.

We cannot end this email without thanking each one of you for your love, prayers and support.
We love you!

We will keep in touch!

Answering His call to go,
